SENIOR VEGETATION ARTIST

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an experienced Senior Vegetation Artist to join our team. The job will require working with the Art Team to create foliage 3D assets and integrate them into the game levels.

You will work closely with Level Artists, Concept Artists, Designers and Art Director to create highly detailed natural objects and parts of levels. 

  • Create and iterate foliage assets for different biomes. 

  • Use combined approach for asset creation – sculpt and photogrammetry. 

  • Creation sets of vegetation and integration it to levels. 

  • Ability to improve and refine levels from vegetation perspective. 

  • Team player with good communication skills.  

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in AAA game development, modeling, and texturing.

  • Extensive knowledge of Speedtree, Maya/Max, ZBrush, Photoshop, Substance Painter, and Baking Tools.

  • Knowing about photogrammetry and how to use it in game art.

  • Good understanding of how to turn individual objects into integral biomes.

  • Superior understanding of forms, shapes, structures, and silhouettes.

  • In-depth knowledge of pipeline requirements of real-time game art.

  • Able to work creatively as a part of a large or small group.

  • Ability to improve and refine levels from the vegetation perspective.

Preferences

  • Experience with Unity or Unreal.

  • Photogrammetry experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge of tools such as Marvelous Designer, World Machine, Houdini, etc.

  • Good English.

  • A passion for games.

  • Experience with Exodus SDK.
