SENIOR 3D ENVIRONMENT ARTIST NEW IP

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an experienced Senior 3D Environment Artist to join our team. The job will require working with the Art Team to create 3D assets and integrate them into the game levels.

You will work closely with Level Artists, Concept Artists, Designers and Art Director to create highly detailed props and structures for different game locations.  

Work closely with Game Designers and the Art team to create objects and environments.  

  • Create and iterate 3D assets – props, modules, and structures.  

  • Integrate and refine objects into game levels.  

  • Ability to work with complex layouts.  

  • Perform quick research for shapes and environments.  

  • Meticulous work with textures and materials.  

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of experience in game development and modelling  

  • Being a ‘pro’ with your favourite 3D modelling package (Max/Maya/Blender), Substance Painter / Substance Designer and ZBrush.   

  • Knowledge of real-time rendering engines, resource limits, and optimization.  

  • Experience with modular kits and large asset authoring. 

  • Ability to work with organic structures.  

  • Understanding of forms, silhouettes and colour is a must.  

  • An artistic eye and attention to details and materials.  

  • Able to work creatively as part of a large or small group.  

  • Team player. 

  • Communication skills in English.  

  • Knowledge of modern AAA pipelines.  

Preferences

  • Technical or art education.  

  • Experience with game engines such as Unreal, Unity, etc.  

  • Photogrammetry experience is a plus.  

  • Create PBR-correct assets.  

  • Knowledge of additional software is a plus (SpeedTree, Houdini, etc.).  

  • Knowledge of engine tooling and automation is a plus. 

  • A passion for games.  

  • Proactive attitude.
