LEVEL ARTIST

 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create photo-realistic indoor and outdoor levels in game engine. Lights setup, instancing, placing particles, etc.

Work in-between game design and 3D Art teams.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Have experience with game engines like Unreal, Cryengine, etc.

  • Good understanding of light, composition, color-coding.

  • Intermediate experience with any 3D modeling package.

  • Understanding modular design.

  • Understanding resource balancing and experience in optimizing scenes.

  • Fluent in English.

 

Preferences

  • Artistic/architectural/engineering education or background.

  • Versatility in used tools and performed tasks.

  • Scripting experience with Unity and/or blueprint experience in Unreal.

  • Understanding of both modern and legacy real-time rendering tech and lighting principles.

  • Knowledge of additional software is a plus (ZBrush, XNormal, World Machine, Speedtree, Houdini, etc.).

  • Hardcore FPS gamer.
