GAMESCOM 2026 — THANK YOU FOR VISITING
Gamescom 2026 has come to an end, and we would like to sincerely thank everyone who was part of our presence at the event.
Over the course of gamescom, more than 5,000 visitors stepped into the world of METRO 2039 through our demo, with 150+ media representatives and content creators sharing their hands-on impressions.
Seeing so many people get their hands on the METRO 2039 demo and genuinely enjoy it was one of the best parts of gamescom for us. Hearing your reactions, watching you discover the game for the first time, and seeing your excitement around what we have been building made the whole experience incredibly rewarding for the team.
Thanks for your feedback! It helps us feel that we are moving in the right direction as we continue working on a new chapter of METRO — a project we are putting a great deal of care, passion, and effort into.
We also revealed the Renegade trailer and shown the Collector’s Edition. Since then, we have also shared new 4K gameplay captured on PS5 Pro, running at 60FPS in Performance Mode with ray tracing. We also confirmed that METRO 2039 will launch on February 4, 2027 — with plenty more exciting news still to come!
We were incredibly excited to return to Cologne, meet some of you and finally get the game in your hands. There is not much longer to wait before we return to the tunnels of the Metro!
