3D ENVIRONMENT ARTIST
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create a wide variety of high-quality, realistic modular assets and environment pieces for natural and built spaces.
Collaborate with Designers, Concept Artists, and Art Directors to ensure environments align with the overall artistic vision.
Focus on realism and environmental authenticity, from the smallest props to large-scale landscape elements, to create immersive, playable worlds.
Take ownership of assets through all stages of the pipeline — from concept and modelling to final in-engine implementation.
Optimize assets and scenes for real-time performance while maintaining visual fidelity.
Work collaboratively, providing constructive feedback and supporting team workflows.
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of experience working in a game development studio.
Understanding of the “full-cycle” production pipeline. From an idea until final integration and tuning in the engine.
Being a ‘pro’ with your favorite 3D modeling package (Max/Maya prioritized), Substance Painter / Substance Designer and ZBrush. The experience of photogrammetry is a plus.
Knowledge of realtime rendering concepts, resource limits, and optimization.
Good understanding of form, structure, color, and silhouette.
An artistic eye and attention to detail.
Able to work creatively as part of a large or small group.
Good level of English
Experience with Jira/Miro is a plus.
Preferences
Experience with Unreal Engine or similar.
Experience in developing for consoles.
Made PBR-correct assets.
Understanding of current tech possibilities and graphics trends.
Technical or art education.
Learner and self-developer.
Hardcore FPS gamer.
