Manage Works in the Art Department
We are looking for an Art Manager to join our team. The job will require management of works in the Art Department, time-tracking of tasks, performing QA to 2D/3D assets, managing content structure. An Art Manager is a Senior Artist with a strong practical knowledge of modern real-time graphics and management experience.
Work closely with Project Managers and Leads providing assistance in high-level planning.
Directly help artists with planning and estimating their works.
Track progress of individual tasks.
Manage workload in Art Department.
Work closely with HR Department providing necessary data for improvement actions.
Establish rules, specifications and conventions with Leads and Seniors.
Perform technical and artistic QA of delivered art assets.
Manage content structure indirectly and directly.
Manage resource budgets.
Provide help and tutoring to artists.
Experience with real-time engines. Shipped games or strong portfolio are a must.
Managing experience of groups of 15+.
An exceptional understanding of form, shape, structure, and silhouette.
Knowledge of architecture styles and manufacture principles.
Understanding memory and performance limitations of real-time rendering.
Understanding real-time rendering pipelines.
Several years of experience as a 2D and 3D Artist, and knowledge of relevant software.
Good understanding of real-life physics and matter interactions.
User-level knowledge of Unreal or Unity.
Knowledge of work automation methods by scripting or using special software.
Knowledge of anatomy and organics.
